The digital drawer
for your family's
health.

Everything you can do with MyMediBox: therapies, reports, appointments, clinical trackers, reminders and family profiles.

Table of contents

— 01

Dashboard — Today

Your starting point: everything happening today, at a glance.

The "Today" screen is the app's home. It shows a daily overview for the selected patient: medications due, upcoming appointments and recent tracker measurements.

What you'll find on the Today screen

Switching patient

At the top of the screen you'll find the PatientSelectorBar: tap the active patient's name to scroll through your family profiles. The dashboard updates instantly to show the selected profile's data.

Tip: You can mark a medication as "missed" even after the scheduled time — the app records the actual intake time, not the planned one.

— 02

Family profiles

A separate space for every person you care for.

MyMediBox is designed to manage the health of multiple people at once — yourself, your children, your parents. Each profile has its own medications, documents, appointments and trackers, completely separate from the others.

Creating a new profile

  1. Open the Profile tab from the bottom navigation.
  2. Tap "Add patient".
  3. Enter the name (required) and optional details: surname, date of birth, gender.
  4. Confirm. The profile is immediately available in the PatientSelectorBar.

Profile data

Required
Patient first name
Optional
Surname, date of birth, gender
Synced
Data synced to EU servers (Supabase Frankfurt)
Isolated
Each profile has fully separate data

Tip: You can edit or delete a profile at any time from the Profile section. Deleting a profile removes all associated data (medications, documents, appointments).

Therapies & medications

Manage ongoing treatments with precise schedules and automatic reminders.

The Therapies section is the heart of the app. Add all of a patient's medications, set personalised dosages and times, receive timely notifications and track intake history over time.

Adding a medication

  1. Go to the Therapies tab.
  2. Tap the "+" button at the top right.
  3. Enter the medication name and dosage (e.g. "Ramipril 5 mg").
  4. Set the frequency: daily, every other day, weekly or custom.
  5. Add times: tap "Add time" for each daily dose. You can set different times for each dose.
  6. Add optional notes: "before meals", "with plenty of water", etc.
  7. Tap Save.

Marking an intake

Managing therapies

Important: MyMediBox is not a medical device. Enter medications following your doctor's or pharmacist's prescriptions. Never change doses or times without consulting a healthcare professional.

— 07

Clinical timeline

The patient's full health history in chronological order.

The Timeline aggregates into a single view all activity recorded for a patient: medication intakes, uploaded documents, completed appointments and tracker measurements — organised by month.

How to use the Timeline

For your doctor: The timeline is great to show your doctor or specialist — it gives a clear overview of the treatment journey over time.

Notifications & reminders

Timely alerts so you never miss a dose or a visit.

MyMediBox uses local notifications — sent directly from your phone, without going through external servers. They work offline and are gentle on your battery.

Notification types

Configuring notifications

  1. Go to Profile → Notification settings.
  2. You'll find 5 toggles: you can enable or disable each notification type separately.
  3. Preferences are saved locally on your device.

If notifications aren't arriving: Check that notification permissions are enabled in Android Settings → Apps → MyMediBox → Notifications. Some aggressive Android ROMs (Xiaomi, Samsung) also require adding the app to battery optimisation exceptions.
